Marnie Stern is currently touring the US and will be in Europe in Nov/Dec in support of her new self titled album. Let me introduce you to our friend:

Asif Ahmed (Shmanagement) is Marnie's manager and he is hilarious and completely inappropriate to say the least. He is very well dressed. A bit of a bitch, but in the best way, and always quick to send an encouraging word.  Here are a few of those words from tonight for you to enjoy:



"I just don't want marnie to run around like a fucking coin slot machine like it's open season at mohegan sun..
last thing i need is this bitch to get knocked up dragging fig along on one leash and a 2 headed baby on the other."


A few weeks ago he asked us to post THIS VIDEO on our blog but I'll just give you the link because I actually can't decide how I feel about it.


here are a few last snipets just to round out the day:
"Hey.. its officially the weekend and i'm not answering any work emails til 7 AM on monday morning EST.  Have a great 2 days off not thinking about work and making other people's lives miserable! :) If its an emergency.. call the police!"

And finally, while discussing an excerpt from a review: "'but by the end of the album you may feel emotionally drained and in need of a bit of a lie down.'... They should try having a pep talk with you, they'll need a Motrin AND a lie down"
